Agromi subsidiary 100% owned by Luzéal Agricole cooperative brings together 1700 farms, specializing in plant dehydration for animal nutrition. Agromi transforms, packages and sells various products from these plants. For 15 years as an expert in plant litter for farm animals and with our expertise, we have developed LITELIA a complete range of compostable and biodegradable plant litter for pets. To offer an alternative to mineral litter which today weighs heavily on our environment 500,000t of Co2 emitted each year, and weighs heavily in our bins 270kg of waste per year per cat, i.e. around 612,000t of waste for all 16 million cats recorded in France. Our raw material MISCANTHUS, a perennial plant harvested every year does not need any phytosanitary product, the loss of these leaves in autumn is enough to prevent the regrowth of weeds and provide it with its organic need to develop during its 25 years of lifespan, it is often installed in water catchment areas and will retain heavy metals from the water seeping into the groundwater. LITELIA, responds to the AGEC law on the circular economy, and also responds to the BEGES Decree on the low Carbon footprint that companies should have.
