For 18 years, the secondechance.org website has been the gateway to responsible pet adoption in France. The concept is simple: to bring together the advertisements of all the organisations involved in animal rescue to offer the public a single search engine to help them find their future companion.
The aim is to promote adoption in France by offering both individuals and associations a single platform where people can find each other. Seconde Chance already brings together more than a thousand associations and hopes to continue increasing the number of shelters and animals featured on the site.
Are you looking for a long-haired black cat in the Ile de France or a Yorkshire-type dog in Marseille? Seconde Chance allows you to carry out a multi-criteria search that will give you a list of all the animals that match your criteria in the region or département of your choice. All that's left for you to do is contact the shelters concerned to visit the one you've chosen... and maybe adopt it!
